Vanessa Brooks Stark, RN, BSN, CIC, currently serves as the Chief Quality Officer and Risk Manager at Community Health Systems, where responsibilities also include the role of Director of Infection Prevention. In addition, Vanessa is a Pilates Instructor at Club Pilates. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Quality and Infection Prevention at Merit Health and Clinical Director at Advanced Surgical Care. Vanessa has a strong foundation in nursing, having worked as a Registered Nurse in various capacities at St. Dominic's Ambulatory Surgery Center, Mississippi Surgery Center, and NewSouth Neurospine. Beginning a professional career as a student intern at Bank of Anguilla, Vanessa pursued nursing education at Delta State University, graduating in May 2007.
