Marcheta Turner

Marcheta Turner, MBA, CDP, SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Recruiting Manager and Co-chair of the Equity & Inclusion Committee at Community Housing Partners since November 2021. In this role, Marcheta oversees the development and implementation of effective recruiting strategies aimed at attracting diverse talent while partnering with the Equity and Inclusion team to address social, environmental, and economic injustices. Prior to this position, Marcheta held various roles including Director of Human Resources at Roanoke City Public Schools and Human Resources Consultant for the City of Roanoke, VA. Furthermore, Marcheta gained foundational human resources experience as a Specialist with Shenandoah Life Insurance Company. Educational achievements include an MBA in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management and a second MBA focused on Business/Human Resources, both from Mary Baldwin University, alongside a BS in Behavioral Sciences from Bluefield University and an AS in General Studies from Virginia Western Community College.
