Beverly Beaver

Beverly Beaver is a Supervising Attorney at Community Legal Services, specializing in the housing department since August 2024. Concurrently, Beverly serves as an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers Law School, a position held since January 2023. Previously, Beverly worked at the Defender Association of Philadelphia from August 2011 to August 2024, where roles included Assistant Public Defender, Chief of Department, and Assistant Chief of Department, in addition to participation as an Equal Justice Works and Gideon’s Promise Fellow in the Public Defender Corps. Beverly holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Rutgers Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History from Moravian University.
