Catriona Johnson has a diverse work experience that spans over different organizations and roles. Catriona currently works at Community Living BC as the Director of Governance and Policy. Prior to this role, they held the position of Manager of Policy and Government Relations at the same organization. Catriona also worked as a Strategic Business Analyst at Community Living BC.

In addition to their experience at Community Living BC, Catriona has worked at Camosun College as an Instructor in the Community Support and Education Assistant program. Catriona has been involved in various leadership roles throughout their career, including being the co-founder of Second Wave Victoria and serving as the Executive Director of the Victoria Epilepsy and Parkinson's Centre.

Prior to their Canadian experience, Catriona worked as an Assistant Director for State and Federal Relations at the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration. Catriona was responsible for administering service waivers and low-intensity family support services, among other responsibilities.

Catriona also worked as a Policy Analyst at the National Disability Rights Network, where they analyzed and monitored legislative and budget activities related to disability issues.

Catriona's diverse work experience showcases their expertise in areas such as policy development, program design, instructional design, and advocacy.

Catriona Johnson's education history begins in 1988 when they attended the University of Victoria for their Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Women's Studies, which was completed in 1990. Following this, they pursued their Masters degree in Special Education at The Johns Hopkins University from 2004 to 2007. Later, they embarked on their Doctoral Studies in Disability Policy at the University of Victoria, starting in 2010 and concluding in 2016.
