Lori Wallis has a diverse work experience in the field of people development and learning. Lori is currently working as the Director of People Development at Community Living BC. Prior to this role, they held various positions at BC Assessment, including Director of Strategic People Programs and Manager of Learning & Development. Before BC Assessment, Lori was a Manager of Leadership & Supervisory Development at BC Public Service Agency. Lori also worked as a Learning Manager at the Ministry of Education & Ministry of Advanced Education and as a Learning Advisor at the Department of National Defence. Their early career involved working as a Trainer at BC Lottery Corp. throughout the years 1998-2002. Overall, Lori has a strong background in training and development, leadership development, and strategic people programs.

Lori Wallis has a strong educational background. Lori began their studies at the University of Victoria in 1985, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Linguistics & Psychology. Lori successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1990.

Following their bachelor's degree, Lori attended Camosun College from 1996 to 2002, where they obtained a Certificate in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General.

During the same period, from 1998 to 2002, they enrolled in the Justice Institute of BC, acquiring a Certificate in Trainer Development.

Lori's education pursuits continued at Royal Roads University, where they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Leadership & Training from 2000 to 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Lori Wallis has also obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in March 2019.
