Elena Song is an experienced leader and researcher currently serving as a Team Leader at Community Living Centers, where Elena oversees a team of over 20 caregivers to provide 24/7 assistance to individuals receiving care. In addition to this role, Elena has been an Undergraduate Researcher at Michigan Medicine's Neuromuscular Lab since January 2024, focusing on the RPNI model and its effects on pain relief for amputee patients. Elena's research experience includes a Lim Lab research internship at Stanford University School of Medicine, where investigations into glioblastoma multiform and tumor microenvironment interactions were conducted. As an active member of the Campus Symphony Orchestra at the University of Michigan, Elena rehearses with approximately 100 fellow musicians. Elena's diverse background includes positions such as Personal Care Assistant, Retail Specialist at Noodles & Company and Panera Bread, and involvement in other musical and health-related activities throughout high school and university. Elena is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Michigan, set to graduate in 2026.
