Tonya Cotto

Tonya Cotto has extensive experience in education and customer service roles. Currently serving as a Teacher at Preply since January 2023, Cotto also holds a position as a Substitute Teacher at Community Unit School District 308 since February 2019 and works as a Content Writer for Moms.com since June 2020. Previous teaching experience includes a 3rd & 4th Grade Teacher role at Outreach Community Ministries from January 2018 to September 2019. Cotto has supported students in various capacities, including as a Tutor at Wyzant since September 2019 and as a Dean's Assistant for East Aurora School District 131 from September 2011 to January 2018, providing behavior management and crisis intervention. Earlier career roles include customer service positions at Alorica and CheckFree, as well as an administrative role at CompUSA. Cotto's educational background includes a Teacher Preparation Certificate in Special Education from the University of West Florida and ongoing studies toward a BS in Human Development and Family Studies at American Military University.
