Laura Strong

Laura brings a lifelong commitment to the well-being of all creatures great and small to her role as director of University Relations with CVP. She is a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional (CCFP) through the International Association of Trauma Professionals, a testament to her warm-hearted approach to providing quality care. She brings this same warm-hearted passion and commitment to the students she works with, who are just now beginning their careers in veterinary care. Laura came to CVP through a partnership with Eastside Animal Hospital, an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA)-accredited hospital that was under her leadership since taking the reins from her uncle in the 1990s. Laura has been a respected member of VSG, Inc., and served as an IVMA officer for the 9th District. She is currently a member of the board of directors for MightyVet, an industry-specific nonprofit organization focused on “CPR for the veterinary soul.”
