Amanda Newman

Amanda Newman, LMSW, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in social impact, project management, and communications. Currently serving as a Project Management Consultant for the National Wilderness Coalition and a Grant Writer for Surala Consulting, Amanda has held various roles with the Community-Word Project, including Program Manager and Evaluations and Special Projects Manager. Previously, Amanda contributed to the Dance Exchange as the Director of Communications and Associate Director of Programs, and worked with MedStar Institute for Innovation in multiple communication-focused roles, including Independent Contractor and Healthcare Innovation Fellow. Amanda co-founded Connect2Health and brings a strong educational background with a Master of Social Work from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Modern Dance from the University of Utah.
