Elizabeth Searles

Elizabeth "Bess" Searles has a diverse and extensive work experience in healthcare leadership roles. Currently, they serve as the Executive Director of Population Health at CommunityCare. Prior to their current position, they were the Director of the St. David's Children's Hospital at HCA Central West Texas. Elizabeth "Bess" has also worked as an Associate Director at Navigant Healthcare.

During their tenure at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Searles held the position of Director of Case Management and Population Health Management. In this role, they oversaw various areas including Population Health Management, Case Management, School Health, and Clinical Value Based Care.

Earlier in their career, Searles worked as the Director of Medical Affairs and Quality at Valley Children's Healthcare, where they directed multiple departments including Outcomes & PI, Patient Experience, Infection Control, Research, and Quality.

Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Quality & Medical Affairs at Grandview Medical Center, formerly Trinity Medical Center, where they led various areas such as Quality Affairs, Patient Safety, Infection Control, Risk Management, and Case Management.

Searles began their career at Ascension as the Admin Director of CardioPulmonary Service Line at Medical Center East. In this role, they oversaw the Cardiovascular Service Line and performed Quality Director functions for the service line.

Overall, Searles' work experience spans over two decades and showcases their expertise in various aspects of healthcare leadership, including population health management, quality and medical affairs, and cardiovascular services.

Elizabeth "Bess" Searles has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Creighton University. Elizabeth "Bess" also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the same university. Furthermore, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Bess Searles also obtained several certifications, including Nurse Executive (NE-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center and Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from the Institute of Industrial Engineers. Additionally, they are a Registered Nurse. Bess Searles was granted the Order of the Arrow, which is an honor from the Boy Scouts of America.
