Cassandra Gogreve has an extensive work history in various positions related to project management and community development. Cassandra is currently an Associate Director at the Community Corporation of Santa Monica, a role they have held since September 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager at the same company from September 2021 to September 2023.
Before joining the Community Corporation of Santa Monica, Cassandra worked as a Project Manager at Abode Communities from August 2018 to October 2021. Cassandra also served as an Assistant Project Manager at Heritage Housing Partners from June 2016 to June 2018, where they were responsible for managing project teams, conducting research, and overseeing project development.
In addition, Cassandra has experience in business development and research. Cassandra worked as a Business Development Intern at Skid Row Housing Trust from December 2015 to June 2016, where they facilitated community and staff design input meetings, researched land use and development opportunities, and explored funding options for affordable housing.
Cassandra also worked as a Research Assistant at the Center for Sustainable Cities from September 2015 to December 2015, where they facilitated strategic meetings on groundwater management and researched best practices in water governance.
Earlier in their career, Cassandra gained experience in transportation planning and management. Cassandra interned at the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority from March 2014 to September 2015, where they analyzed station designs, contributed to line designation changes, and conducted research on universal station design. Cassandra also worked as a Transportation Contract Services Trainee at the same organization from March 2014 to November 2014.
Before entering the field of community development and transportation, Cassandra worked as a Match Support Specialist at Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Indiana from September 2012 to December 2013, and as a Teacher's Assistant at Country Day Creative Arts in June and July 2012.
Cassandra Gogreve attended South Pasadena High School, but their field of study and degree are unknown. Cassandra then pursued a bachelor's degree in Advertising at the University of South Carolina from 2007 to 2009. After that, they obtained a bachelor's degree (Honors) in Art History at Indiana University Bloomington from 2009 to 2012. Later, they pursued a Master of Planning degree in Sustainable Land Use at the University of Southern California from 2014 to 2016. In 2018, they attended UCLA for the Affordable Housing Development Program.
