Jinmyeong Kim

Jinmyeong Kim is a Senior Principal Engineer at Commvault since October 2024, following the acquisition of Clumio where Kim served as Staff Engineer 2. In this role, Kim led a team of over ten developers in the planning and execution of a new flagship product, overseeing project activities and contributing significantly to both architectural design and coding. Prior to that, as Staff Engineer 1, Kim developed S3 Instant Access, achieving a disaster recovery solution with under 3 hours of RTO for 30 billion backed-up objects. Jinmyeong Kim also played a key role in Clumio's Amazon S3 backup solution and worked as a Senior Software Developer at SAP, focusing on the SAP HANA Core and SQL Optimizer team. Early career experiences include internships at Codesign and Parallel Processing Lab and Anipark, where Kim contributed to game development. Jinmyeong Kim holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Seoul National University.
