Alexander Gmelin

Alexander Gmelin has more than a decade of experience in product management, business development, and project management. Alexander is currently working as the Chief Product Officer at Comodule, a position they have held since November 2023. Prior to this, Gmelin served as the Chief Product Officer and Head of Market Management at INVERS GmbH from August 2019 to August 2023. Alexander was responsible for developing and offering innovative tech products to fleet operators, focusing on revenue drivers and cost reductions.

Before joining INVERS GmbH, Gmelin worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence from November 2015 to August 2018, where they identified and assessed new business and investment opportunities. Alexander also served as the Business Development Manager at LapID Service GmbH from July 2016 to December 2017, where they played a key role in launching the LapID driver training as a SaaS tool.

Gmelin's earlier experiences include co-founding midzi App in 2015, consulting in product and project management at Green Parrot GmbH, and product and project management roles at moovel Group, SHARE NOW (formerly known as car2go), Daimler AG, and TU München. In these positions, they worked on various projects related to alternative powertrains, online marketplaces, and fleet management. Gmelin also had an internship at FEV for BMW, where they focused on hybrid powertrains and OBD application engineering.
