Anthony ‘the Doc’ Fitzpatrick

Anthony ‘The Doc’ Fitzpatrick has a vast and diverse work experience in the finance industry. Anthony ‘The Doc’ is currently serving as the Head of Quantitative Analytics at Compagnie Financiere Tradition since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Macquarie Group for a long period from 2010 to 2021, holding the role of Desk Quant, Excel Tsar & Pub-Singer-in-Residence in the Quantitative Strategy department. Before joining Macquarie Group, Anthony worked at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as a Desk Quant & Head of Light Entertainment from 2003 to 2010. Anthony ‘The Doc’ also served as a Quantitative Comedian in the Asset Trading Desk at Credit Suisse from 1998 to 2003. Anthony began their career at Deutsche Bank as a Quantitative Spreadsheet Monkey in the Methodology-with-Coffee Unit from 1997 to 1998. Prior to that, they gained experience as a General Skivvy in the Arbitrage Desk at Yamaichi Securities Co., Ltd and as a Trainee Gopher in the Desk Rotation at Mizuho (formerly Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank International).

Anthony 'The Doc' Fitzpatrick obtained their BSc(Hons) First Class degree in Physics from The University of Manchester in 1991. Anthony ‘The Doc’ continued their education at the same institution and completed their PhD in Nuclear Structure in 1994.
