Sadiq Patel

Sadiq Patel is a data scientist who currently works at Waymark. Sadiq has also worked as a Microsoft AI Research Fellow at the University of Southern California, a Senior Product Development Consultant at Accenture, and an Educator at Teach For America.

Sadiq has always been interested in data and its potential to help people. Sadiq started their career as a consultant, helping companies develop new products. Sadiq then transitioned to teaching, where they used data to help improve educational outcomes for students.

Eventually, Sadiq decided to focus on data science full-time. Sadiq began working at Waymark, where they use data to help businesses make better decisions. Sadiq is passionate about using data to improve people's lives and is constantly looking for new ways to do so.

Sadiq Patel received their PhD in Social Policy from the University of Chicago. Prior to that, they received their MS in Biostatistics from the University of Chicago and their MSW from the University of Michigan. Sadiq completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they majored in Molecular & Cellular Biology and Math.

They are on a team with and Heather Grates - Service Designer. Sadiq Patel reports to Henning Chiv, Product Lead, Data & Actuarial Technology.
