Benjamin Duclos

VP Operations Sustainability at Plastic Omnium

Benjamin Duclos has a diverse work experience in various roles related to sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and environment health and safety. Benjamin started their career at Pechiney as a Plant Safety Coordinator and later became the Division Environment Health and Safety Manager. Benjamin then moved to Alcan as the Sector Environment Health and Safety Director before joining Rio Tinto Alcan as the Plant Black Belt Lean 6 Sigma Leader. Benjamin then transitioned to Plastic Omnium, where they served as the Corporate Environment Health and Safety Director and later as the Corporate Social Responsibility & EHS Group VP. Currently, they hold the position of VP Operations Sustainability at Plastic Omnium, where they support the company's objectives for CO2 emissions reduction and manages the Group HSE network.

Benjamin Duclos obtained a MSc degree in Environmental Management from the University of Plymouth in 1998. In 1999, they completed a DESS degree in Industrial Risks from Université Paris-Sorbonne. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Black Belt (BB) from George Group, obtained in 2006.
