Christopher Metu

Christopher Metu has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Christopher began their career at Makon Group, where they held various roles including Project Engineer, Project Planning and Control Engineer, Construction Project Control Engineer, and Project Planning Engineer. During their time at Makon Group, Christopher was responsible for managing and supporting planning and execution of engineering, procurement, construction, and installation projects. Christopher developed and maintained project schedules, coordinated cross-functional project execution meetings, and collaborated with internal teams to ensure project success.

Christopher also worked at PPC Limited as a Project Planning Engineer, where they managed and supported the planning and execution of engineering projects. Christopher developed and maintained project schedules and coordinated cross-functional project execution meetings.

In 2020, Christopher joined Ujali Ltd as an IT Product Manager. In this role, they determined project scope, identified challenges, and developed strategies for successful project deliverables. Christopher collaborated with cross-functional teams to plan, develop, coordinate, and execute technical strategies aligned with client visions and goals. Christopher also effectively managed outsourced teams and performed functionality tests on applications to minimize issues and disruptions.

During their time at Guidehouse, Christopher served as an Investigations and Compliance Analyst (AML), conducting due diligence and risk assessments on suspected AML/CTF accounts. Christopher monitored transactional cases, identified gaps, patterns, and trends, and provided summarized case reports for recommendation or termination of customers. Christopher also collaborated with compliance officers and FI Unit teams to escalate potential matches against watch-lists.

Most recently, Christopher joined Companial as a Project Manager in 2023.

Christopher Metu graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering from Anambra State University, Uli in 2010. Later, in 2019, they pursued a Master's degree in Electronics Business Management at Mykolas Romeris University, which they completed in 2021. In the same period, from 2020 to 2021, Christopher also obtained an Erasmus Certificate in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Katowicach.

Additionally, Christopher has obtained several certifications.
