A Company 119 Business Development Representative is the first impression of our agency for new prospects and partners. They’re enthusiastic about creating new relationships and finding new leads.

What You Would Do

A Company 119 Business Development Representative is responsible for finding and screening prospects who can benefit from our products and services. You will work directly with prospects to identify key qualification requirements and set appointments for the Vice President of Business Development. This position is perfect for someone comfortable on the phone and capable of communicating with many prospects daily.

Responsibilities include:

  • Inbound lead screening and qualification

  • Outbound prospecting (calls, emails, social media messages) to target accounts, past leads, and past customers

  • Maintaining and updating HubSpot CRM records

  • In-person networking

  • Researching new prospects and contacts

  • Achieving monthly activity and appointment targets

  • Creating and optimizing outbound sequences in Apollo and HubSpot

  • Maintaining key partnership relationships

  • Duties as assigned by the VP of Business Development

Required Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience working in sales, marketing, or customer service role

  • Working knowledge of sales processes

  • Experience working with CRM and marketing automation tools

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console, SEM Rush, WordPress, Facebook Business Manager, and Major Social Media Platforms (Twitter, LI, IG, Facebook, Pinterest, Snapchat)

  • Able to complete work within the Company 119 Chardon offices

Bonus Skills (but not required)

Bonus skills will help determine where in the compensation range you would fall.

  • Experience in a similar sales position with accountabilities around call/email activity and appointment setting
  • Experience with HubSpot and Apollo.io
  • Knowledge of any or all of the following industries (SaaS, home services, auto repair, retail garden centers)
  • Experience with proposal writing

Salary Range:

$50,000-$55,000 + Bonuses
