Jason Occidental is a versatile professional with a strong background in innovation, technology, and education. As the founder of Ecogift Davao since December 2021, Jason focuses on creating affordable, sustainable, and personalized gifting solutions. Currently serving as an Innovation Advisor, Jason conducts research and analysis on industry trends. Jason holds multiple roles at Ateneo de Davao University, including Director of Innovation and Technology Support, where responsibilities encompass intellectual property management, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering, teaching various courses. Additionally, Jason is a founding member of Engineers Without Borders Philippines and has been actively involved in advisory roles and community initiatives. With a solid educational foundation, including advanced degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University, Jason's expertise spans various technology domains and contributes to significant advancements in local industries.
