Laura Mattos

Laura Mattos is a prominent author and journalist with extensive experience in media and communication. Currently, Laura works at Companhia das Letras since October 2019, where Laura authored "Herói Mutilado - Roque Santeiro e os bastidores da censura à TV na ditadura." In addition, Laura has been with Folha da Manhã S.A. since April 2000, contributing to Folha de S.Paulo, where roles include columnist and special reporter since September 2016, and previously served as editor for various weekly sections and reporter at Ilustrada. Laura holds a Master's degree in Communication from the Escola de Comunicações e Artes (ECA-USP) and the Universidade de São Paulo, completing the program in 2016 while having studied at the same university for an undergraduate degree from 1994 to 1998.
