ChangJong(John) Ryu

ChangJong (John) Ryu has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. At Korea Credit Data, they currently work as a Project Management Officer. Prior to this, they were a Product Manager at Kasa. ChangJong(John) also worked at Hyperconnect as a Business Development Manager and Project Manager. During their time there, they achieved significant accomplishments such as improving retention rates and increasing revenue for the company's app. Additionally, they made the monitoring process more efficient by implementing an AI filtering model. Before that, ChangJong worked at Samsung Electronics in various roles including Service planning & Service expansion lead, Project Manager for App migration, and in the Service Launching Task Force for Bixby and Sweden Samsung Pay. During their time at Samsung, they led several successful projects such as integrating Samsung Connect and SmartThings, designing a user journey for account migration, and managing the launch of Bixby Voice and Sweden Samsung Pay. Prior to their time at Samsung, ChangJong interned at POSCO where they worked in the Brand Marketing Group and contributed to analyzing sales strategies and researching market competition. ChangJong (John) Ryu completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) degree in Business at Seoul National University from 2009 to 2015. ChangJong(John) also holds additional certifications including a Certified Sports Trainer 2nd grade from the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, a Judo First dan from the Korea Judo Association, and a Mydata Manager from the Korea Credit Information Service.
