Abazar Kamali, SHRM-SCP

Abazar Kamali, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Abazar is currently working at MyDigipay as the VP of Human Resources, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, from August 2021 to March 2023, they worked at NAK | World-class telecom managed services company as a Human Capital senior manager.

Before their time at NAK, Kamali was employed at Dr.Abidi Pharmaceuticals as a Learning and Development Manager from October 2018 to August 2021. From January 2019 to March 2021, they also served as an HR consultant at Saman Electronic Payment (SEP). Prior to that, from June 2018 to December 2018, they held the position of HR Administration manager at SEP. Kamali also has experience as an HRD Manager at SEP from February 2014 to June 2018.

In addition to their HR roles, Kamali has also worked at saderat brokerage as a Listing and IPO consultant from May 2013 to March 2014. In this position, they provided guidance and advice to companies going through the IPO process and oriented managers and experts to the IPO process.

Abazar Kamali, SHRM-SCP has a strong educational background in human resources management and personnel administration. In 2013, they began their doctoral studies at the University of Tehran, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General in 2017. Prior to their doctoral studies, Abazar completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in HRM & OD at the University of Tehran from 2011 to 2013.

Furthermore, in 2004 to 2008, Abazar earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics from Persian Gulf University.

Additionally, Abazar has pursued various certifications and professional development opportunities to enhance their expertise. Abazar obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in July 2022. Moreover, they completed certifications in Agile Leadership: Introduction to Change and OKR Certification: Leadership and Goal Setting, offered by the University of Colorado and Measure What Matters | OKR Resources respectively, in March 2023 and February 2023.

Abazar also obtained certifications in the areas of diversity and inclusion, such as Diversity and inclusion in the workplace from ESSEC Business School and Inclusive Leadership: The Power of Workplace Diversity from the University of Colorado in August 2022. Furthermore, they underwent Executive Coaching training provided by LinkedIn in May 2020.

Supporting their coaching expertise, Abazar completed an Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP), consisting of 125 hours of coach-specific training, at Coaching Ways Iran - Coaching School in January 2020. Abazar also pursued additional coaching training from the William Glasser Institute-Australia and New Zealand in February 2018.

Lastly, Abazar obtained the COMFAR3 EXPERT certification from the FAMOR ACADEMY in January 2012.
