Tanya uses an evidence-based approach that is a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, and Existential approaches to therapy to create a blend of techniques and approaches that benefit a wide range of individuals. Her holistic style will help you develop a plan and discover new ways to learn, grow, and manifest change in your life. Some populations of interest include: Children and Adolescents (birth-18), Adults (all ages), Depression, Anxiety, Conduct Issues, Adjustment Disorders, and Trauma-based Disorders. Tanya also incorporates Play Therapy techniques in her work with children and adolescents which allows for children to use a more natural language (the language of play) when they may be at loss for words to express themselves. Born and raised in Hawai’i, Tanya has a deep respect for all cultures and believes each culture has much to do with who we are today. While far from the beach, Tanya now calls Dodge City her home and her coworkers her family.
