Kate Long

Kate Long has a robust background in early childhood education, currently serving as Admin/Pedagogical Lead and Early Childhood Educator at Compass Early Learning & Care since March 2023. Previous experience includes roles as an Early Childhood Educator with the YMCA of Greater Vancouver from June 2020 to April 2023, and as an Early Childhood Education Instructor at Capital College from April 2022 to December 2022. Additionally, Kate has held positions as an Assistant at Cousteau The French International School of Vancouver and as a Student Worker in the Diversity Department at Fleming College. Early career experience includes being an Early Childhood Educator at Compass Early Learning and Care from May 2016 to July 2019 and serving as Residence Life Staff at Brock University Residence. Kate Long is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Women and Gender Studies at Athabasca University, with an anticipated graduation in January 2024, and holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Fleming College.
