Mark Armstrong

Mark Armstrong is an experienced HSEQ & Technical Services Director at Compass Group since February 2019, also serving as Technical Director for Compass Group UK & Ireland since January 2015. Mark has a strong background in strategic planning and compliance, having established a Technical Services Team to enhance operational excellence in various sectors. Previous roles include Director of Service Delivery for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation, Head of Total Facilities Management, and Director of Infrastructure at the UK Ministry of Defence. Mark contributed to the British Olympic Association as a director during the selection of London for the 2012 Olympic Games and managed Team Great Britain's Luge in the 2002 Winter Olympics. An alumni of Cranfield University with a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mark's extensive military experience includes serving in various capacities from 1987 to 2007.
