Leslie Brankin

Leslie Brankin, Psy.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of psychology. Leslie currently works as the Director of Young Adult PHP/IOP and Licensed Clinical Psychologist at COMPASS HEALTH CENTER, LLC. Leslie previously held the position of Associate Director in the same company. Dr. Brankin also has their own private practice, starting in 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the IAES and Diagnostic Program Coordinator at South Campus Therapeutic Day School from 2016 to 2018. Leslie gained valuable experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System, where they provided therapy to at-risk youth and led group sessions. Leslie also served as a Clinical Doctoral Intern at Lawrence Hall Youth Services, working with male youth involved in the Department of Children and Family Services or Department of Juvenile Justice. Additionally, Dr. Brankin worked as a Therapist/Diagnostician at The Center for Personal Development, where they conducted therapy sessions and psychological evaluations. Leslie completed their therapy practicum at the Voice Sexual Assault Center and their diagnostic/testing practicum at Community Mental Health Council. In 2008, they started their career as a Mental Health Counselor at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital and interned as a therapist at McHenry County Youth Service Bureau.

Leslie Brankin, Psy.D. holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, which was completed from 2001 to 2005. They subsequently obtained a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling from The Chicago School, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. Leslie's education culminated in a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School, which was completed from 2010 to 2015. They also possess a certification in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.
