Avika Jindel

Avika Jindel is an Analyst at Compass Lexecon, a leading economic consulting firm, since July 2023. Previously, Avika served as the Opinions Section Editor and Business Associate at The Student Life Newspaper from August 2019 to June 2023, and was a Davis UWC Scholar at Pomona College during the same period. In addition, Avika worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Economics Department at Pomona College from August to December 2022 and gained experience as a Strategy Consulting Intern at KPMG Singapore in summer 2022. Avika's previous roles also include a Quantitative Investments Intern at Invenio Asset Management, a researcher focusing on the health crisis of migrant workers during the Covid-19 pandemic, and an internship at Allen & Overy. Avika's early career included an internship at NamZ - Earthnatural Pte. Ltd., where competitor analysis and food science laboratory work were conducted. Avika holds a Bachelor's degree with a double major in Economics and PPE from Pomona College, and also studied as an exchange student in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Yale-NUS College. Education was completed with a high school diploma from UWC South East Asia.
