Daniel McLean

Daniel McLean has a varied work experience in the engineering field. Daniel worked as a Lead Mine Engineer at Compass Minerals since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Plant Engineer at TOTALL Metal Recycling, Inc. from 2021 to 2022. Daniel also gained valuable experience at Prairie State Generating Company, where they worked as a Reliability Engineer-Operations from 2013 to 2020 and as a Mine Engineer from 2011 to 2013. Daniel'scareer began as an Operations Associate at Peabody Energy from 2009 to 2011.

Daniel McLean obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Daniel also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Illinois Surface Mine Supervisor certification from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained the Illinois Mine Manager certification in October 2011, the Illinois Mine Examiner certification in March 2011, and the Illinois Experienced Miner certification in February 2009.
