Tyler Cohoon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In their most recent role as a Product Manager at Compass Mining since December 2021, they have been involved in building tools to support the decentralized growth of Bitcoin's hashrate and network security. Prior to this, they worked as a Content Coordinator at Braiins | bitcoin mining tools from February 2021 to December 2021, where they supported media, marketing, and content teams, wrote blog content, and appeared on podcasts to discuss the Bitcoin mining industry.

Before entering the cryptocurrency industry, Tyler had a significant tenure at Ford Motor Company. Tyler served as a Design and Release Engineer, Cost Reduction Engineer, and Floor Console Systems Engineer, among other roles, from 2014 to 2021. In these positions, they led the design and release of products, optimized costs and weight, managed suppliers, supported vehicle production launch, and collaborated on various engineering projects.

Their professional journey also includes a Core Program Management internship at Ford Motor Company in 2013, where they assisted in the global deployment of new tool order tracking tools and processes.
