Joyce Tsai

Joyce Tsai, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Joyce'smost recent position is Vice President and Head of Clinical Sciences at COMPASS Pathways since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals from 2013 to 2021, holding roles such as Executive Director, Global Clinical Research - CNS, Senior Director, Global Clinical Research - Psychiatry, and Senior Director, Medical Affairs - Psychiatry. From 2010 to 2013, they were Director of Neurology and Pain Clinical Development at Allergan, and from 2002 to 2010, they worked at Forest Laboratories (now Allergan) in various roles, including Director of Psychiatry Clinical Development and Director of Scientific Assessments. Before their industry experience, they had roles at Health Science Communications, Rockefeller University, and ETH Zurich.

Joyce Tsai, PhD holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry and Psychology from Duke University. Joyce later earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry and Biophysics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
