Matt Owens

Matt Owens is the current General Counsel & Chief Legal Officer at COMPASS Pathways. Prior to this, they were the Global Head Legal- Digital at Novartis International AG from January 2017 to February 2022. Before that, they were the Global Head Legal- Strategic Partnerships & Digital Medicine at Novartis Pharma AG from January 2010 to December 2017. Owens began their legal career as Senior Counsel at Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from January 2006 to December 2010. Matt then worked as Corporate Counsel at Mettler-Toledo, Inc. from January 2003 to December 2006.

Matt Owens reports to Kabir Nath, CEO. They work with Daniel Sutcliffe - Patient and Market Access Manager, Sue Stansfield - Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations, and John Boghossian - Vice President of Operations.
