Mike Hawkins, CFP®, has a comprehensive work experience in the financial industry. Mike started their career at First Community Bank as a Commercial Credit Analyst and eventually became a Sr Commercial Credit Analyst, Banking Officer. In 2012, they joined AgFirst Farm Credit Bank as a Senior Credit Analyst before being promoted to Credit Analysis Manager and later becoming an AVP, Capital Markets Officer. Mike then joined Farm Credit Bank of Texas as a Director, Capital Markets before transitioning to their current role as Director, Capital Markets at Compeer Financial. Mike's roles have included evaluating credit structure, providing guidance and training to teams, analyzing large and complex loans, and making investment decisions.

Mike Hawkins, CFP®, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management from the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University in 2007. In 2014, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business, completing their degree in 2016. In 2017, Mike attended the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. Additionally, they completed the Southeastern Agricultural Lending School (SEALS) in 2013.

Mike Hawkins also holds several certifications. In 2014, they obtained the Fitch Learning Corporate Credit Analysis certification from Fitch Ratings. Later that year, they completed the Fitch Learning Understanding Securitization and ABS program. In 2015, Mike obtained the Fitch Learning Advanced Corporate Credit Analysis - Early Warning Signals certification.
