José Vitor Santos Silva

José Vitor Santos Silva has a strong background in software engineering and development. José Vitor is currently working as a Software Engineer at ComplyAdvantage since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Python Developer at Clicksign from May 2022 to May 2023. Before that, they were employed at Conceptu Protótipos & Sistemas as a Python Developer from June 2021 to May 2022, where they were responsible for backend development, API construction and maintenance, automated testing, and integration with external services.

José Vitor also has experience as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Universidade Federal de Sergipe - UFS from July 2019 to July 2021, where they focused on deep learning research, particularly in the field of computer vision. José Vitor studied deep models and implemented model compression techniques such as pruning, quantization, and knowledge distillation.

Additionally, José Vitor worked as a Python Developer at Argos Artificial Intelligence from July 2020 to June 2021. In this role, they developed solutions based on deep learning models for computer vision tasks, with a focus on object detection. José Vitor was involved in training and evaluating deep models, developing rest APIs, and deploying/developing using Docker. José Vitor also contributed to the construction of datasets through ETL pipelines and labeling tools.

José Vitor Santos Silva pursued their education at the Universidade Federal de Sergipe from 2017 to 2022. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. In July 2021, they also attained a certification in Artificial Intelligence (HCIA-AI) from Huawei.
