Emma Roya Hoffmeyer

Emma Roya Hoffmeyer has held a variety of legal roles since 2012. Her earliest role was as an assistant for Advokatfirmaet Jens Hoffmeyer, where they handled lighter legal cases in family and inheritance law as well as buying and selling of real estate. Emma Roya then moved on to \u00d8ENS R\u00e5dgivningshus as a student lawyer, where they provided assistance to the firm's attorneys and paralegals in areas such as real estate, tenancy law, family and inheritance law, administrative law, IT law, trademark law, debt collection, and bankruptcy. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at the Center for IT og Medicoteknologi (CIMT), Region Hovedstaden as a legal consultant and information security lawyer, specializing in data protection law. In 2021, they joined BEC Financial Technologies as a Senior Data Privacy Consultant and Legal & Compliance Officer. Currently, they are a Senior Legal Engineer at ComplyCloud.

Emma Roya Hoffmeyer has a comprehensive educational background. Emma Roya began their education in 2000 at Marie Kruses Skole, where they obtained their Folkeskolens Udvidede Afgangseksamen in 2006. From 2006 to 2009, they attended Stavnsholtskolen. In 2009, they graduated from Gladsaxe Gymnasium, STX with a Studentereksamen in English A, French A, Social Studies B, and Geography B. In 2010, they took a French course at LSF French Language School in Montpellier. From 2013 to 2016, they attended Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, where they earned their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Jura. Emma Roya continued their education at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 2016 to 2019, earning both their Master of Laws (LL.M.) and Kandidatgrad in Jura. Emma Roya also attended Western University in 2017, where they obtained their Master of Laws - LLM. In addition, Emma Roya Hoffmeyer has obtained two certifications: a Kursus i udarbejdelse af DPIA v. Anders Linde from Dansk Standard in October 2019 and a Plesner Certifikat i Persondataret v. Michael Hopp from Plesner in April 2019.
