Senior Learning And Development Specialist at Composites One

Melodie Luckman has extensive experience in the field of learning and development. Melodie currently holds the position of Senior Learning and Development Specialist at Composites One starting in 2022.

Prior to this, Melodie worked at The Standard from May 2022 to December 2022 as a Senior Learning and Development Consultant. In this role, they served as a key learning strategist and business partner, driving the advancement of L&D skills within the organization. Melodie successfully led a platform modernization project, managing relationships with senior managers, subject matter experts, change management professionals, external vendors, and L&D teammates.

Before joining The Standard, Melodie spent several years at Fifth Third Bank, where they held various roles. From April 2020 to May 2022, they served as AVP, Senior Learning Designer / Team Lead, analyzing learning needs, establishing objectives, and organizing human-centered design sessions. Melodie also mentored new designers and vendors.

Prior to that, Melodie worked as an Instructional Designer from June 2017 to April 2020, creating ILT/vILT deliverables and facilitating Train the Trainer events to enhance facilitation skills. From February 2010 to May 2017, they held the position of Senior Learning Facilitator, collaborating with subject matter experts and LOB partners to develop course content and delivering classes to multiple LOBs. Melodie also served as a Financial Center Manager from August 2008 to February 2010.

Melodie began their career at Chase as a Branch Manager from April 2005 to August 2008. Melodie excelled in sales and management, growing new households and improving branch performance through team engagement and motivational coaching.

Throughout their career, Melodie has demonstrated expertise in learning and development, including strategy development, stakeholder management, instructional design, facilitation, and team leadership.

Melodie Luckman has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Chicago. Melodie also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management and Services from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.

In addition to their academic degrees, Melodie has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Melodie is an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner certified by IBM, and they hold a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from the Six Sigma Society. Melodie has also been certified in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging by LinkedIn.
