Mohamed Zgaren is an accomplished R&D Antenna/RF Engineer at Comprod Inc. since January 2023, with previous experience as a Research Fellow at Weill Cornell Medicine from April 2017 to April 2021, focusing on RF systems for cardiac implants, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, specializing in RF systems for power and data transfer in deep tissue cardiac implants. Prior to this, Mohamed served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at École Polytechnique de Montréal, where innovative wireless health devices were developed for subcutaneous pressure sensing. Additional roles include a Lecturer at both École Polytechnique de Montréal and Université de Moncton, teaching electrical and biomedical engineering. Extensive experience as a Scientific Collaborator at Qatar University involved designing RFID-based communication platforms. Mohamed holds a PhD in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, along with a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Moncton, and an Engineer's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Sup'com.
