Rick Silva

Rick Silva has a strong background in data science and leadership roles. Rick is currently the Vice President of Data Science at CompTIA, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they founded Langerang LLC in February 2011. From July 2019 to October 2022, Rick was the Head of Data Science at MX, where they led and grew multiple teams to research and develop AI/ML solutions in the financial industry. Before that, they had various roles at Symantec, including Sr Principal Data Scientist in the Innovation Team and CTO Office, where they solved complex business problems and implemented engineering changes to improve customer service. Rick also held positions at Novell and Novell Ireland Software Limited, where they focused on regional product management and regional engineering.

Rick Silva has obtained a B.S. degree in Information Management from Brigham Young University. Rick also holds an Executive MBA from the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business.
