Computer Recycling Ltd

Computer Recycling works with businesses and individuals to help reduce the impact of electronic waste on our environment. New Zealanders are creating an average of 19 kilograms of e-waste per person, per year. Not surprisingly, that number is set to rise. At Computer Recycling, we’re committed to ensuring that this waste doesn’t end up in landfills, where it will continue to cause irreparable damage to our land and our oceans. To do this, we’ve established e-waste recycling processes that are environmentally sound and secure, and developed sustainable streams for whole items, components and commodities. While we specialise in technology reuse, we are also dedicated to ethical recycling at our ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 accredited facility. For all non-usable items, we ship only through Basel Permits to our partners in Europe and Asia, where the products are processed back into raw commodities at world-leading e-waste disposal and recovery facilities. We also know that education is the best way to ignite understanding, and therefore behavior change, when it comes to the safe and responsible disposal of electronic waste. Which is why we’re also passionate about working with communities, schools and organisations to promote awareness. As Kiwis, kaitiakitanga (guardianship) of our land is an intrinsic value that sits at the heart of our company ethos, and we’re proud to be doing our bit to protect our land, today and into the future.
