Larae Butcher has a diverse work experience spanning various industries.

Larae currently works as a Project Manager at the Computer Science Teachers Association since 2021.

Prior to that, they were a Digital Marketing Strategist at Maven Fire from 2017 onwards, where they identified marketing gaps and developed advertising campaigns.

From 2008, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Halifax Community College, providing instruction on small business, management, marketing, and communication.

Larae also held the role of President/Real Estate Investor, Realtor/Broker at Exclusive Real Estate Options, LLC from 2014 onwards, where they helped retail buyers find their dream homes and improved the quality of housing in neighborhoods.

Moreover, they worked as a Local Marketing Consultant at McClatchy/Raleigh News and Observer from 2020 to 2021, maintaining customer relationships and acquiring new accounts.

Larae also has experience as an Educational Consultant at eduConsulting Firm from 2014 to 2016, where they provided guidance and training to teachers.

Additionally, they worked in the Wake County Public School System as a Senior Administrator, Grant Coordinator from 2013 to 2014, and as an Assistant Principal from 2012 to 2013.

Lastly, they served as a Teacher Development Coach/Teacher Trainer in various school districts from 2006 to 2012, where they managed curriculum and instruction, trained teachers, and facilitated professional development sessions.

Larae Butcher has a diverse education history. Larae began their academic journey in 1999 at Elizabeth City State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English/Mass Communication in 2002. Later, in 2004 and 2005, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Liberty University. Building upon their previous accomplishments, Larae Butcher continued their education at Liberty University and earned an Ed.S. degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from 2006 to 2008. Finally, they furthered their expertise in the field by completing a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration at Liberty University between 2018 and 2020.
