Gavriel Patlis

Gavriel Patlis has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Gavriel currently holds the position of VP Delivery Manager at Comsec, a role they have held since September 2023. Prior to this, they were the VP Head of GRC at HUB Security starting from November 2022. Gavriel's previous experience includes working as the Head of GRC at Comsec from November 2016 to November 2022, where they successfully built and managed a team of consultants responsible for delivering GRC projects in Israel and internationally. Before joining Comsec, they served as the Head of Data Security and Privacy Regulation at the Israel Ministry of Health from March 2013 to October 2016. In this role, they were instrumental in achieving ISO 27001 certification for over 20 health entities and implementing GRC methodologies in health organizations. Gavriel started their career as an Information Technology System Analyst, working at various companies including Sysnet Group. Gavriel held this role from 2007 to 2013. Prior to that, Gavriel was the Logistics Manager at Motorola Arad from June 1992 to December 2006. Throughout their career, Gavriel has gained extensive experience in GRC, Information Security, and consultancy services.

Gavriel Patlis earned a Bachelor's degree in Software Science from Sapir College between 2003 and 2006. In 2018, they attained certification as an Information Security Compliance Auditor for Supply Chain from the Standards Institution of Israel. Gavriel also holds a certification as an ISO 27001 Certified Lead Auditor from the same institution. In 2020, they obtained additional certifications including being a PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and a Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP) from the PCI Security Standards Council.
