Anirban Chakraborty

Anirban Chakraborty was appointed as Comtech’s first Chief Growth Officer in August 2022. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for Comtech Trusted Location since 2018 and was instrumental in its 5G and Public Safety strategies. Anirban brings more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry across Terrestrial and Satellite technologies. Prior to joining Comtech, he served in leadership positions in a plethora of enterprises ranging from Technology startups, Private Equity firms and publicly traded companies, including Tech Mahindra, Moonlight Capital and UST Global.

As the Chief Growth Officer, Anirban will be focused on Comtech Labs & Innovation Foundry, a unit that will engage with our customers, suppliers, and partners to continually push the boundaries of terrestrial and satellite communications innovation. He is responsible for establishing a solid research foundation on which Comtech innovates new products & solutions and for providing the critical support infrastructure ensuring that Comtech business units can deliver that vision and create value.

Anirban holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Karnataka University in India.
