Rachel Jacobs

Rachel Jacobs has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Rachel currently holds the position of Vice President Growth - Terrestrial and Wireless at Comtech Telecommunications Corp. since November 2023. Prior to this, Rachel worked for Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Mission Advocate in the Aerospace & Satellite Solutions Team from October 2020 to November 2023.

Before joining AWS, Rachel worked at Rockwell Automation for several roles. From January 2018 to October 2020, they served as a Strategic Account Manager, establishing and maintaining long-term partnerships with key mining executives. Prior to this, Rachel held the position of End User Account Manager from August 2014 to January 2018, helping manufacturing companies optimize their processes with automation solutions.

Rachel also has experience as a Channel Account Manager at Rockwell Automation from January 2013 to August 2014 and as a Product Manager in the Mechatronics department from July 2009 to January 2013. Additionally, they completed a leadership development program at Rockwell Automation from June 2007 to June 2009, where they gained exposure to various business units and learned about their goals and challenges.

Rachel began their career as a Product Design Intern at Apple in June 2005.

Rachel Jacobs attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. Rachel also obtained additional certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate in October 2021, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in September 2020.
