Gerhard G.

Gerhard G. has over 20 years of experience in software development and engineering. Gerhard has held various positions throughout their career, starting in 1995 as a Senior Software Engineer at Storage Technology, where they developed UNIX and Windows NT Client/Server backup and librarian software. In 1999, they joined Aventail Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in UNIX clustering software. Gerhard then worked at Asta Networks in 2001 as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on the development of network-based Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) detection software. In 2002, Gerhard joined WatchMark Corp. as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the development of Performance Management software for wireless networks. Gerhard's work experience also includes a role as a Skiing Instructor at Summit at Snowqualmie Ski School (S4) from 2012 to 2019. Since 2004, they have been working at Comtech Telecommunications Corp., initially as a Principal/Supervisory Engineer and later transitioning to a Software Development Manager and Senior Software Development Manager. In their most recent role, Gerhard serves as the Director of Software Development, overseeing a team of software developers and leading the transition of the company's E911 infrastructure into a Virtual Private Cloud network.
