Miriam Gutierrez is an experienced policy officer specializing in EU affairs and circular economy, currently serving as a Policy Officer at Comunidad de Madrid and as a HSSE Analyst with UNOPS. Since April 2021, Miriam has been focused on advancing the circular economy in alignment with European environmental targets while also contributing to the improvement of UNOPS' HSSE management system. Previous roles include serving as a Policy Officer for the European Commission, where contributions were made to REACH regulation and the Falsified Medicines Directive, along with positions at AEMPS and the World Health Organization's Office at the EU. Miriam's academic background includes master's degrees in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology, as well as Pharmacy, supplemented by scientific research experience in nanowires and biopharmaceuticals.
