As the Senior Program Specialist for Concern Worldwide US, Ariana manages the research and capacity development program Beyond Barriers which seeks to understand how to achieve a more effective and localized humanitarian response. She also supports the Building a Better Response Program and the National NGO Program on Humanitarian Leadership.
Prior to joining Concern, Ariana held roles at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights, and the Baker Institute for Public Policy. She specializes in the design and implementation of capacity development training for humanitarian professionals and the execution of impact-oriented research. She strives to lead with humor and foster a supportive environment for her colleagues and partners.
Ariana holds a master’s degree in Public Health with a focus on Humanitarian Studies, Ethics and Human Rights from the Harvard TH Chan School, and a bachelor’s degree in Arabic from Georgetown University. She enjoys lifting weights and bringing people together over food.
