Conall Timoney

Conall Timoney has worked in a variety of roles since 2017. Conall began their career as a Landscape Maintenance for Julian Cranfield in 2017. In 2019, they became a Physics Tutor for Louisa Warmen, where they achieved a key achievement of helping a student raise their grade from a poor performance on a mock exam to a B, enabling them to apply for the courses they wanted. In 2020, they joined AXA as a Data Scientist, where they were part of a transversal Data Science team working with both Motor and Home Market and Technical pricing to apply Machine Learning and Data Science techniques. Conall'skey achievements at AXA include receiving an "Excellent" rating in their performance review and creating Machine Learning Interpretability tools. In 2022, they joined Concirrus as a Senior Data Scientist.

Conall Timoney completed a Master of Physics (MPhys) in Theoretical Physics from The University of Sheffield between 2015 and 2019. Conall has also obtained a number of certifications from various institutions, including LinkedIn, Coursera, Microsoft OpenHack, and Stanford, between 2020 and 2021. These certifications include Finance Foundations, Fundamentals of Reinforcement Learning, Prediction and Control with Function Approximation (Reinforcement Learning), Sample Based Learning Methods (Reinforcement Learning), Deep Learning, Convolutional Neural Networks, Python Classes and Inheritance, Advanced Machine Learning and Signal Processing, IBM Scalable Data Science, OpenHack: DevOps for Data Science, Data Science with R, Statistics with R Specialization, Azure Spark Databricks Essential Training, Applied Data Science with Python Specialization, and SQL. Conall is also currently enrolled in three Coursera courses: Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects.
