Saroj Thapa

Saroj Thapa is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Physics at Concordia College since May 2023 and has previously held the position of Assistant Professor (Visiting) at Illinois Wesleyan University from August 2022 to July 2023. Thapa's academic journey includes a significant role as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at The University of Tulsa from August 2017 to May 2022, where research focused on the synthesis and characterization of semiconducting materials for LED applications, alongside responsibilities in teaching and mentoring undergraduate students. Earlier experience includes working as a Student Research Assistant at Kathmandu University from 2013 to 2015, contributing to acclaimed research on ZnO-based solar cells. Saroj Thapa earned a Doctoral degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from The University of Tulsa, alongside a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Tribhuvan University.
