Nick Woods

Nick Woods has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nick is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Concurrency, Inc. starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Grit Software Systems as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for handling over one million monthly authentications and participated in creating identity experiences for end consumers. Nick also worked as a Web Application QA at Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. and as a Visual Data Specialist at HCL Technologies, where they tested geographic browser tools and automated workflows using JavaScript. Additionally, Nick has experience in teaching, having worked as a Lead Teacher and Data Lead at Creative Coding For Kids and as an Assistant Teacher in computer coding. Nick also served as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student at the University of California, Riverside, where they oversaw various courses and assumed a leadership position in the classroom.

Nick Woods completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics at William & Mary from 2008 to 2012. Afterward, they pursued a Master's Degree in Mathematics at the University of California, Riverside, from 2012 to 2015. In October 2015, Nick obtained certification in "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python (Part 1)" from Coursera Verified Certificates. Nick also achieved fluency in Intermediate German through Duolingo in September 2015.
