Nathan Barber

Nathan Barber has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information technology and security. Nathan is currently working as an Information System Security Engineer at Concurrent Technologies Corporation since June 2021. Prior to this, they served as an IT Systems Engineer at SAIC from September 2019 to June 2021.

Before their time at SAIC, Nathan worked at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) where they held various roles. From October 2017 to September 2019, they served as an IT Operations Manager / Superintendent. Prior to that, they were an IT Operations Manager, Plans Flight from June 2015 to October 2017.

Nathan'scareer started in the United States Air Force, where they served for several years. Nathan held positions such as Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) from May 2013 to June 2015, Manager of Network Operations from April 2011 to May 2013, and Manager of Network Operations from July 2010 to April 2011. Before these roles, Nathan also worked as an Infrastructure Manager from October 2008 to July 2010 and as an Enterprise Network Technician from June 2003 to October 2008. Nathan began their career as an Airman in October 1998 and served until June 2003.

Nathan Barber received their Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Information Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force between 2008 and 2010. Nathan then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from Colorado State University Global from 2011 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Nathan obtained the ITIL v3 Foundations certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in July 2015 and the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in February 2021.
