Sophie Tahran

Sophie Tahran is a seasoned design professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Design at Condé Nast, where leadership of product design and content design teams spans various prestigious publications, including The New Yorker and Vanity Fair, since October 2022. Prior to this role, Sophie held multiple positions at The New Yorker from May 2019 to November 2022, including Director of UX Content Design and Interim Head of UX Research. Additional experience includes significant roles at InVision as a UX Writing Lead and at Lyft in various writing and communication capacities, beginning in March 2014. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and has educational backgrounds from institutions such as General Assembly, The American University in Cairo, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and UC Santa Barbara, with high school education at Los Altos High School.
